🌟Welcome to Persuasive Paragraph Writing!🌟 🍪Maria’s Bakery is hosting a competition for the best new cookie flavor. The winner will be chosen as Cookie of the Month!🍪🎉 Each student will create an illustration of their cookie and write a paragraph explaining why their cookie should be Cookie of the Month! Maria is looking for creative ideas and strong persuasive writing! 💪✨ 📝Please note that there are no live meetings for this class. All material will be posted in the classroom for you to view at your convenience. This is a self-paced version of our live class. (3/4 ELA, Week 33) This class will contain three recorded videos and three independent activities. Lesson Overview: ✦Introduction Video: An introduction to persuasive paragraph writing. ✦Drawing Activity: Draw and color a picture of your cookie creation. ✦Graphic Organizer Video: Learn how to use a graphic organizer to plan your writing. ✦Graphic Organizer Activity: Complete your graphic organizer. ✦Persuasive Writing Video: Write along with the video, step by step. ✦Editing Activity: Edit your work for clarity and strength. Learners are encouraged to share their drawings, graphic organizers, and persuasive paragraphs.
