Students will learn the basics of drawing 1,2,3 and 4 point perspective. Day 1 and 2 are a beginning level, and day 3 and 4 are considered advanced. We will be working with pencil, ruler, compass and stumps. We will be meeting for 4 consecutive days for 55 minutes each day. Students are encouraged to practice their perspective drawings after each day as to better their skills. Each day will be building block for the next day. I have taught 1,2,3 and 4 point perspective to students of all ages. I recommend that prior knowledge of perspective would be useful but not required.
Learners must be ready for class with: Day 1-3 - Drawing pencil (#2 school pencil will work), ruler, eraser, stump (cotton ball, tissue or Q-tip will work as well), 9 x 12 drawing paper (multi media, drawing, print paper will work), fine point black marker Day 4 - all of the above with the addition of a compass
