When I was eight and just beginning to play violin, I felt sick before every recital. I would have given a kidney to get out of performing in front of an audience. When I was eighteen and performing in my last musical of high school, I would have given you my OTHER kidney just to perform again! What happened during those ten years? I practiced performing. I am a certified Early Childhood and Early Childhood Special Education teacher! I have taught 2nd grade math in a brick-and-mortar classroom, and taught kindergarten through sixth graders as a private tutor. After performing in many plays and musicals, I directed two children's plays. I am passionate about performance arts because I have seen them give students skills and confidence they will take with them for the rest of their lives.
