Chalk pastels 24 count or more
Oil pastels 24 count or more (find a brand that doesn't have a lot of wax in it for a smoother blend)
Black paper (drawing or card stock all work: needs to be sturdy for our blending techniques)
White paper (drawing or card stock all work: needs to be sturdy for our blending techniques)
Black Elmers glue (not white, not glitter, not glow in the dark, not Neon) (recipe for making black liquid glue: black food dye, white glue mix in a bowl and pour back into glue bottle)
Paper towels
Baby Oil or any liquid oil
Q-tips for the oil blending
Foam tipped brush 1 inch size
1 inch sized paint brush

Hi parents,
I have created a really fun interactive classroom through google sheets for one of our extra parts to class.  This classroom has images of my own chalk art, and other beautiful art that the students get to click on for a fun game or video.  The videos are links to youtube videos (some are my own, and others are from kid friendly chalk themed resources).   I have done everything on my end to remove ads, however if you need to do something on your end to remove ads, or stop other videos from playing after the initial one I have linked please have those settings already in place, otherwise you can view along side your child.  This is an optional extra your child can participate in, that is really fun.
