In this one time class, students will make a gingerbread house picture with the teacher. While students create their scene, they will learn the following words in French: house, gingerbread, roof, door, window, walkway, tree, chimney, snow, candy. They will also learn the primary colors. Students will be sent the activity sheet and vocabulary sheet prior to class. Students should bring crayons, colored pencils or markers with them to class. At the end of class, students will be able to...
Students will learn how to say the parts of the house in French and make a gingerbread house picture. At the end of class, students will be able to describe their house in French.
Bonjour! I am a licensed French teacher for grades preK-12. I have a BA in French and an MA in Sociolinguistics. I have over 10 years of teaching experience in the classroom and over 3 years teaching online. I also am a certified ESL teacher and I lived in the south of France teaching English as well. I enjoy making learning a language FUN and EXCITING while also being meaningful and creative. I cannot wait to meet your learner and speak French together.
