Over the course of 4 weeks, students will use paper bags to model how to orally present and write paragraphs about relatable topics. By using the paper bags, students will have a visual experience to relate the topic sentence, detail sentences, and conclusion sentences into their writing. Topics include, but are not limited to family, friends, sports, games, favorites, and future. Throughout the class, students will have access to 30-minute weekly pre-recorded videos with the teacher modeling the process, interact with sorting and matching activities, and practice with assignments that can be shared in the classroom verbally and in written form. Students have the option to play guessing games with other students and/or teacher through video recordings posted to the classroom.

Students will be introduced to the paragraph format using a paper bag as a symbol. We will work through a model paragraph structure for students to share orally or in writing. 1 作業

Students will practice using the paper bag model for a second paragraph and learn how to use adjectives for description. 課 3:

Students will practice a third paragraph using the paper bag model and will learn to use a simile for added description. 課 4:

Student should have experience with sentence writing as we will be stringing sentences into a paragraph format.

Students will need access to a bag (lunch bag, grocery bag, etc) as well as toys or trinkets from around the house related to games, favorites, and family. Alternatively, they may use paper and pencil to draw items.
