課堂經歷
Learners require no previous experience, simply a love of experimenting with new art mediums and an enjoyment of painting nature, especially landscapes. I will teach the key stages of creating landscapes, from the initial drawing and sketching through to applying acrylic. We will cover drawing, using acrylics, the key methods for using acrylics as well some more modern techniques. I will provide the students with an image to use as inspiration for our paintings. The class will comprise of the following sections: Introductions (10 mins) Drawing (10 minute sketches) - I will provide demonstrations and give tips along the way Acrylic paint instruction and demonstration (10 mins) Discussion halfway through (5 mins) Acrylic instruction and demonstration - layering and adding final details to their landscape (10 mins) Further painting session with commentary and additional tips for adding detail (10 mins)
學習目標
Students will learn to be brave with acrylics and come away with an understanding of how to use dark/ light and colours, as well as how to to use acrylics for varied effects. They will become confident in the acrylic painting process especially when tackling some detailed images and illustrating and painting landscapes.

Hi,
My name is Daina. I teach art, languages (German), permaculture and yoga. I hold a BA Hons degree in German and Business Studies, and worked for 2 decades in the communications industry from businesses and organisations as varied as the Australian Federal Government to Twentieth century Fox. I graduated with a Foundation in Art and Design from Mary Ward College London in 2004 and have been teaching yoga and art classes in Brisbane for the past 4 years.
I love working with children and especially with the arts, as I know that there is a natural born artist in each and every one of us. Children in particular have no limits when its comes to their imagination and this is what I love to nurture. I also love the calming effect the arts has on us all. I homeschool my own 3 daughters where my educational philosophy lies in allowing the child to pursue their interests.
I am a lover of learning and am constantly looking to learn new things and keep on growing. This gives me a joy for life. Most recently I took up West African drumming and performed in my first gig. I must say... I am addicted! 評論
