I will teach learners to create many different Origami creations through out the year. Each week there will be a theme for the creations we make. Some weeks the theme will surround an upcoming holiday, other weeks it will have general themes. Please read below to see upcoming themes. Student will be interacting with me during the entire class. They are expected to follow along step by step as we create the origami creations. We will make one or more creations based on time allowances. ...

Students will learn to use basic folding techniques to produce different Origami creations.
I have over 15 years experience teaching in Brick and Mortal elementary level classrooms. I also have a few years experience with online teaching. I have been teaching others to make different projects with paper since I was 14 years old. I use many different techniques to ensure students understand how to make fold they are unfamiliar with.
Students are expected to have 3-6 square pieces of paper. Paper should be regular copy paper weight or lighter for ease of creating the projects.
If a learner is having difficulty with the project, a parent can be off camera to assist with the folds. In most cases supervision is not needed, since most students should have no problem following along with the many visual and oral directions.
