In this class, students will learn how to take sheets of paper, and turn them into so many different things! The paper can turn into animals, moving parts, or something practical that you can use like a cup or wallet! This course will focus on all aspects of the Japanese art of folding paper: origami. The main learning goals for this class will be for students to learn the Japanese art of origami through an artistic lens by creating different types of origami.
I learned origami at the young age of 7 years old, and have been actively practicing origami ever since then. I also have experience with teaching children origami for over 6 years.
