We will meet weekly for a one-on-one piano lesson, focusing on learning to read music. In addition to the typical skills like technique, theory, and ear training, I also like to incorporate improvisation, composition, performance confidence, and bits of music history! Over the years, I have taught over 100 students piano lessons! I have taught individual and group lessons, in person and online, elementary school through college aged. I am comfortable with beginners and advanced alike.

Ideally, beginners should practice a little each day, about 10 to 20 minutes. I understand that sometimes that may not happen! As students progress and the music becomes more complex, they will need to spend more time in practice.
