Do you love dancing? In this class we will learn ballet technique, new dance moves and do short ballet combinations/play dance games. This class is all about you, so please message me before class so I can customize the lesson to fit you! You can choose from one of the themes below, or classical ballet. No previous dancing experience is required. Please wear comfortable clothing and have a water bottle nearby during the class. This is an ongoing class. This means that you are charged for...
Dancers will learn age appropriate ballet fundamentals (1st, and 2nd positions, plies, tendu and passe, leaps, gallops). Dancers will improve their balance, flexibility, coordination and musicality.
I have 14 years of experience teaching dance to children in dance studios around the world. I was a member of dance groups in the United States and Egypt. I was the co-president of my university's dance troupe. I hold a dance instructor training certificate from Australia. I am also a certified K-12 educator in the United States.
- Comfortable clothing or costume - Socks, bare feet, or dance shoes - A water bottle - A space where your child can move around easily
Please provide a space that has enough space for your child to dance safely. Your dancer should wear comfortable clothing and have a water bottle nearby. Please mention any injuries prior to the class so I can modify the moves. By signing up for this class you understand that dance, like any physical activity, involves some risk and take responsibility for any physical injury which occurs during class.
