Learning a musical instrument is fun, fulfilling, and challenging. Through music lessons, students explore a wide variety of musical styles and sounds, and learn how to express and interpret emotions. Private music lessons are taught in English and are a wonderful English immersion experience. 

It's easy to learn when you are having fun! That's why I teach the fundamentals of music through the songs that students love. Some of the concepts we will learn are:

Proper playing and singing posture
How to hold, tune, and take care of our instruments and voices
How to read rhythms and notes on a musical staff and in tablature
How to sight-sing and recognize solfeggi hand symbols
How to play and sing familiar songs to warm up the hands and/or voice
How to play major scales and arpeggios
How to read chord charts and lyric sheets
How to play your favorite songs and have fun making music!
