NOTE: This class is full but I can do another one on one class at another time/day, please message me if you are interested. In this class the student will learn all aspects of putting together a comic book including the tools of the trade, how to make objects look 3d (shading), drawing in perspective, drawing comic book figures, drawing faces, comic book layout, drawing comic book covers, inking and more. This wil be very student led so if they prefer to just focus on marvel supheroes...
students will learn how to layout a comic page, draw dynamic figures, drawing in perspective, inking, shading and drawing comic book covers. Also we wil be looking at different styles of comic book dawing like anime and graphic novels.
The basic requirement is drawing paper, pencil, eraser and ruller. Other items can be something to colour with (Coloured pencils, marker pens, paints or ink pens.) A good book to buy would be 'How to Draw Comics the Marvel way' by John Buscema and Stan Lee. It has lots of excercises to do and filled with good easy to understand advice.
This is optional but a good book to buy would be 'How to draw comics the Marvel way' by Stan Lee and John Buscema.
