喔不：天災！

This 7-week course will look at natural disasters. Each week we will look at a new natural disaster based on the continent where it is most likely to occur or where tremendous disasters have occurred in the past. Each course will look at the conditions needed for each natural disaster to form, a few infamous natural disasters, and the destruction they have caused. At the end of each class, we will create a natural disaster plan that we would use if we ever faced that disaster! This will help students summarize the disaster's main factors while getting their creative juices flowing.

Week 1: Tsunamis - Asia
Week 2: Cyclones/Hurricanes/Typhoons - Africa
Week 3: Tornados - North America
Week 4: Earthquakes - South America
Week 5: Avalanches - Antarctica
Week 6: Volcanoes - Europe
Week 7: Wildfires - Australia

I will provide various opportunities for students to share their thoughts and ask questions. I love hearing what students are thinking and what questions they may have! We will also play a review game at the end of each class to help students focus on the important information in each class.
