What's going on in the NBA? Join me and other students as we examine the NBA's top stories. We will read and discuss top NBA news; such as, the Kevin Durant trade, the Kyrie Irving trade, the swirling rumors, and all the other latest transactions that are taking place in the NBA. The team will have a student-led discussion about the biggest storylines of certain NBA news. I will conduct the class and ensure that the discussion is free-flowing, appropriate, and fun! Watching each and every game is not necessary, but an added bonus. My goal is for everyone to be included in the conversation and learn something new from one another. Feel free to wear your favorite jersey! Some activities we may do in class are: Trivia Ranking Teams Ranking Players Discussing certain positions Discussing certain philosophies

- Social Skills: Students will be able to meet other students with a passion for NBA! In doing so, they will learn and practice conversational skills.
- Comprehension and Analysis: Students will be presented with different angles of an NBA team and be able to express their analysis of the team.
- Critical Thinking: Students will respond to comprehension questions relevant to the NBA.

All NBA news covered will be appropriate and safe. We will only analyze and discuss the different transactions taking place around the NBA; such as: acquisitions, retirements, and trades.

I have played, coached, and now analyzed sports for the past 20 years. As a coach I was able to coach every position and team at the High School Varsity level. I also had extensive practice with breaking down team and opponent scouting film. This led to my current position where I work for a football analytics company where I analyze and input data of different soccer teams, and football teams in the NFL and NCAA. 評論
