In our class together, learners will be exploring the deciduous forest in Autumn. We will explore the five layers of this forest including what animals and wildlife live there. The five layers we’ll explore are: ➢ Tall tree stratum ➢ Sapling tree stratum ➢ Shrub stratum ➢ Herb stratum ➢ Ground stratum By attending this class learners will gain a greater understanding of the beauty and complexity of this forests’ five layers. We will have fun as we learn what makes a deciduous forest...
After completing this class learners will be able to: • Explain what a deciduous forest is • Describe the five layers of the deciduous forest • Identify animals and wildlife that live in the deciduous forest
You will need a few sheets of blank white paper and coloring utensils (a box of crayons, pack of colored pencils, or pack of markers).
