Do you love the sweet taste of honey? Do you ever wonder how it's made? In this one time class, we will take a closer look and the amazing honeybee and discover it's many wonders. We will take a look at: 1. Basic Anatomy of a honey bee 2. How honeybees communicate to each other (be prepared to dance the honeybee dance!) 3. Life cycle of a honey bee 4. The different types of honeybees and their roles as a hive member. 5. The honeybee's role in the environment and how we can help! This class is interactive with discussion, questions, and through the art of nature journaling. Through the use of diagrams, pictures, and a bee dancing video, learners will gain basic knowledge of a honeybee, it's life, and their importance.

Learners are encouraged to get out in nature and "hunt" for bees. Please take appropriate caution for your learner.
