If you want your children to save the earth you first have to teach them to LOVE it! In this 4 week camp we will develop inquiry skills as we learn about insects, plants, birds and animals that live in the woods and ponds. Each day we will meet to socialize, exercise our minds and bodies, craft and learn something new! We will also engage in a craft, science based activity or fine art activity each day with friends from all over the world. Children will have an opportunity to enjoy...
Students will have an opportunity to gain social skills, develop a sense of inquiry, enjoy hands on art activities and grow in a supportive environment.
You will receive a multi page handout from the teacher on the first day of class that contains an overview of daily projects for the 4 weeks we will meet, along with our song and journal. Scissors (May require parental supervision for scissor use) Magnifying glass Leaves, rocks, shells, natural materials found outside in your environment Crayons or colored pencils Watercolor paper, water color paints, paint brush Play dough Construction paper Glue stick
