Using developed characters from a popular anime and manga, students will learn to create a short story based on their favorite character. Students will follow the steps of the creative writing process to reach a final draft of their completed short story. Learners should expect to interact with classmates, share ideas, give and receive constructive criticism about their work and that of their peers. Learners will be evaluated throughout the course for growth rather than a formal assessment at the end of the course. The final reading will be the informal assessment.提供的成績
Students will need to have access to google docs or MS Word to write their stories. Students need to have background knowledge of either manga or anime to be familiar with the developed characters.

Parents are welcome to sit in the same room (but NOT on camera) for the final class as an Audience Member. The stories created may not be the perfect academic writing. The writers will be able to take creative lenience to enhance the story, just as many of your favorite authors had done.
