課堂經歷
What are the features of myths and legends? A legend can be partly based on truth, or what people think may have been true. It can involve real people and events, but these may have been exaggerated as it has been passed down over the years. They normally involve heroes and monsters and all things magical. This class will teach a mythical story each day as we inform our writing, explore new vocabulary and writing styles as we work towards writing a mythical story of our own. Learners will be asked to read their mythical story to the class on Day 5. Learners will be given writing prompts and templates for planning, this class will also teach essay structure and creative writing techniques. Day 1 - Pandora's Box Day 2 - The Legend of the Trojan Horse Day 3 - Theseus and the Minotaur Day 4 - Medusa - The Quest of Perseus Day 5 - Show and tell! **Re-telling of stories appropriate to ages 8-11
