In this class, I will share short engaging Minecraft themed videos that I have designed inside my own Minecraft world to help you learn about and practice simple addition (up to 10). These videos will include tutorials and projects that you can complete in your own Minecraft game. We will have build challenges plus games and addition projects where you can learn hands-on while you express your creativity inside Minecraft. Bonus: Play some abcya! addition games I will show you for extra practice (outside of Minecraft) Throughout our class time I will be available to help answer questions plus offer feedback and encouragement on your builds. Simply share your Minecraft game with me by posting screenshots or video recordings in the Outschool classroom. This class is a good fit for you if you are starting to work on adding numbers 1-10 or you want some more practice doing it in an engaging hands-on way inside Minecraft. Math vocabulary I will discuss, illustrate and teach in this class: -addition, sum, increase, more than, equation, equal I present my material in a fun and engaging way so students can really connect with the math and have a great time while learning! This class is intentionally designed for students with unique learning needs. As a neurodivergent educator, I offer a wide variety of multi sensory activities to support many different learning styles such as ADHD, autism and more!
父母的引導和規範
Note about Minecraft: Any version of Minecraft will work for this class and students do not need to share gamertags as each student will build in their own individual Minecraft world. There is no shared world or realm. Students should have basic knowledge of Minecraft as fasr as navigating in the world and placing blocks. I will share tips and tricks for optimal settings in our first class.
