我的第一堂西班牙語課 - 學齡前兒童和幼兒園的西班牙語和英語圈時間

In this ongoing class, we will work to prepare preschoolers for kindergarten in a fun bilingual way.  We will practice letters, letter sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, weather, months of the year, and days of the week.  We will be learning these things in Spanish and English.  We will also have thematic units and many will go along with the different seasons. Some of these include apples, pumpkins, farm animals, ocean animals, pets, winter animals, and our body. 
We will make friends with each other, learn to take turns, and we will have fun singing songs in both Spanish and English. We will also have story time. Sometimes the books will be completely in English and then repeated in Spanish, and other times, we will read in English and learn key vocabulary from the book in Spanish. I look forward to a fun filled class each and every week.  Each class will have some elements of repetition, just like a regular circle time at school, but each class will have new elements as well.  Some days we will even do letter or color scavenger hunts. We will also do some active exercises while learning to spell the numbers in English and count in Spanish.  Each day will be fun and different.  
****We will continue this class for as many weeks as interest remains high.
 Each week will also have other basic Spanish words being taught from greetings, to colors, to numbers, to shapes, and basic conversation.
I absolutely love this age and the eagerness in which they learn!
