This beginner class meets two times, and will start with "This Is a Flute". No musical experience necessary. In the first class we will talk about the flute family, and learn a little about the history of the instrument. I have over 30 years experience teaching private lessons and group flute classes to children and adults. I have a Bachelor of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of Arizona, and a Master of Music degree in Flute Performance from the University of North Texas. I am currently a freelance flutist in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and a university flute teacher.
For this first experience with the concert C flute, you will need a FLUTE. We will discuss in class what will be needed if you continue playing.
