In this virtual class, you’ll explore the cultural magic of our Mira, Royal Detective Experience from the comfort of your own home. Instead of actual instruments (like egg shakers and hand drums), your instructor will send you suggestions for homemade versions (like a scarf , a tin , wooden spoons , plastic bottle filled with beans etc.) to experience the beat with common items from your environment. PREPARING FOR CLASS - Please designate a "dance area" so students can use the same space each class - lighting (white lights preferred) - Ample and safe space - Proper flooring - Make sure to set the camera up so the instructor can see the student's entire body. - Please set up in an area where students can focus - Less noise, large space, no TV, no distractions, etc - Do not join the meeting until 10 minutes prior to class time. - Keep your water bottle close! - Use the bathroom before class! - Be punctual. We will be running on time as we have back to back classes. - Take into consideration setup time and technical difficulties. - Follow proper attire and hair guidelines - when you look like a dancer, you feel like one Too! - Flooring - Carpet - Best to use socks/barefoot - Tile or wood - go barefoot No socks!
