Need a fun way to practice multiplication facts? In this class, students will play ZAP! a team game where you don't know the winner until the very end. I love this game because it's a game of chance as well as a game of skill. Kids will be so engrossed in the game aspect of this that they will forget that they're doing math. Students are expected to be somewhat familiar with their multiplication facts (0's to 12's). There will not be any teaching in this class, it's just a chance for kids to get together and have fun practicing their facts. I will provide a multiplication chart that students can use to help them during our game. This class is part of a series of classes, all designed to give learners a fun way to practice their multiplication facts. This Multiplication Fun (0-12) series includes: ZAP! Quizlet Live Bingo Feel free to join all 3 classes, or just choose the one with your favorite game format.

Hello there! Welcome to a place of learning and fun! I am a certified teacher in math & science for grades 4-8.
My classes are all about engagement. I believe that if students are actively DOING something, they will learn more. You'll never hear me talk for more than 3 minutes at a time. I deliver a small chunk of info, and then I let the students process it by doing something with it. It could be a discussion, lab, worksheet, drawing, or game. I love games!
I teach group science classes, math game classes, and math tutoring. The math game classes are designed for kids who already know the concepts, but just need fun extra practice.
