Does your child enjoy some friendly competition and love playing games? This multiplication facts math club could be a great fit! 🔥

In this ongoing class, your learner will practice their basic multiplication facts through a different math game each week. Although flashcards are a good way for students to get repetition and learn their math facts, this class will provide a more engaging way of practicing their facts. We will work with one digit by one digit numbers (2 x 3, 4 x 5, 6 x 8, etc.).

At the beginning of class we will have a greeting and I will check-in to see how everyone is doing. Then I will explain the rules of that week's multiplication game. Then, it will be time for the game to begin! 🎮

As the teacher I will facilitate the multiplication games and allow students to have fun with other learners while they compete in multiplication games. This class will provide students a chance to practice their multiplication facts through math games and practice social skills by competing against other learners.

Here is a look at the games we will be playing: 

🗓️ Week of February 3rd: Spin the Wheel- I will spin a virtual wheel that will have multiplication problems on it for students to solve. There will also be some "bonus" slots on the wheel. The student with the most points at the end of the game wins. We will play multiplication Blooket games after this game.

🗓️ Week of February 10th: Mystery Box- I will give students a multiplication problem. They will answer the problem and then be able to choose a mystery box that will reveal how many points they win... or lose. The learner with the most points at the end of the session will be the winner. We will play multiplication Blooket games after this game. Students will NOT need an account for this website. 

🗓️ Week of February 17th: Blooket- Students will play "Gold Quest" and other games on Blooket. Students will NOT need an account for this website.

🗓️ Week of February 24th: Multiplication Board Game- Students will play a virtual board game where they will solve multiplication facts to move on the game board. If time, we will play multiplication Blooket games. Students will NOT need an account for this website.

⭐️ BONUS ⭐️

When enrolled, students will receive a digital or printable practice activity that will help them review their basic multiplication facts after class! They will also receive a printable multiplication table that they can use during class if needed.
