🤘 Are you ready to master your Multiplication Facts? 🤘

Math IS and CAN BE an exciting subject, and it should be that way for everyone! During our time together, students will engage and discover the many tips & tricks of learning multiplication fact families (numbers 0 - 12) in a fun & energetic atmosphere.  

🧠 Everyone has a different learning style, and retains information at various rates! In this class, we breakdown multiplication fact families one number at a time (numbers 0-12) to ensure we do not rush the process. Our multiplication facts will vary in order in which we will cover them. For instance, we want to begin with the easiest multiplication facts first, before we attempt to master the harder ones! If we began with the harder facts, not only will it affect our mentality about multiplication, but our overall demeanor when it comes to learning extended mathematical facts. Remember, this class is meant for you to master multiplication and to fall in LOVE with math all the more! 

🧠 As we dive into the easier multiplication facts first, it will better prompt eagerness when switching into the harder facts. The goal is to understand our fact families by utilizing mental math skills to push our boundaries without the use of a multiplication chart, pencil or paper! In class we also use the added reinforcement of playing a Kahoot game to reach every learning style, and to simply seal in information learned in an interactive way!

--------- ℹ️ Our Class Information ℹ️ ---------

🌻 There are two enrollment options with Self Paced classes. The first enrollment option is to pay up front for the entire class which allows students to have full access from the start of sign up. The second enrollment option is the weekly payment feature; students will only have access to class content for the current week paid for. When a new week begins and payment has been applied, students will have access to that following week, and so on. As for class worksheets, students are not obligated to complete the practice worksheet after each lesson complete but they are HIGHLY encouraged to do so. 

🌻 This class utilizes two third-party websites. 

       - The first third-party website we use is called Kahoot! What is Kahoot? It is a free program/website that encourages students to practice anything their hearts desire. In this class, the Kahoot's provided will associate with the lesson(s) for the day (ex. multiplication facts for number 1, 2, etc.). Utilizing the Kahoot website will give students the opportunity to practice their new found understanding of various facts. All students will need to do is copy and paste the provided link, and begin. Now the Kahoot portion is not necessary as I cannot track or follow the students progression, but it does give students a fun and engaging format for practice. 

        - The second third-party website I use is called Genially. Something amazing about Genially is, students do not need a pin code or log in. Again, a free website that you will click the provide link and students can play the provided games to help with fluency and repetition of their learned multiplication facts!

How long does the course last? 
 - This class is in Self Paced format, meaning there are no LIVE meetings and students/families are able to pace themselves to their liking. Students have access to class content for an entire year from the beginning of enrollment. Students will also have access to teacher feedback and communication for the length of the class! 

What is a Kahoot?
- A Kahoot is a third party website in which students will be able to participate in extra multiplication facts in a fun and interactive way (similar to a quiz but with high energy). Students should be able to access and understand how to navigate the website in order to participate. It is always best to familiarize self prior to class!

We understand that issues may arise! A range of issues could form including but not limited to class difficulty (too easy or hard), technology complications, class/teacher is not a good fit, etc. When problems arise Outschool utilizes their Happiness Guarantee, which provides families with refunds when contacted directly.
