During my years of teaching 4th and 5th grade I noticed how crucial multiplication fluency is for all of the math skills taught in the upper elementary and early middle school grades. Think about it: fractions, division, word problems, algebra, etc. all require knowledge of multiplication facts. Whether a student needs extra practice or just a quick refresher, this class is a great opportunity to sharpen those skills before school starts. The class will include exciting activities such as escape rooms, Blooket races, and a live round of Pie Face. I hope to see you there!

We will be using Nearpod and Blookit to complete some of the games in this course. Students will NOT be required to make an account to complete these activities, but will be prompted to enter a nickname to use in the game.
