This geometry unit’s focus is on students learning about attributes of polygons, sorting and classifying polygons, identifying similar attributes of quadrilaterals and comparing quadrilaterals. Lessons will be displayed using powerpoint or google slides. Students should have a good understanding of grade 2 geometry concepts before taking this course. *Worksheets will be provided *Pencil & eraser *Paper or whiteboard *Scissors (some students may require parental supervision), glue, coloured paper, construction paper, something to colour with. *Dice for some of the games - you could also make your own dice *Manipulatives - Parallel Slides Mat, Right Angles Mat, Angles Mat, Geometry Mat, and paper 2D shapes, paper copy included.
Please be advised that students will be using scissors in class or cutting out manipulatives before the start of class.
