The teacher will follow the format of the Math-U-See Pre-Algebra textbook. Twice weekly students will listen to a brief lecture from the teacher. The teacher will clearly demonstrate practice problems. The teacher will engage all of the students with comprehension checks, learning games, and engaging slides. We will practice the problems together as a class to build confidence, answer questions, and practice skills. As the goal of our math drills is mastery, the students will then take turns...
Students will feel confident entering into the exciting world of Algebra. They will have fully mastered all critical skills to set them up for a successful algebraic journey.
After teaching pre-algebra in a private school for 3 years, I turned my attention to homeschooling. While homeschooling, I have continued to practice teaching math in a small group setting for over 10 years. I am a patient teacher and strive to make the math concepts simple while showing the daily application of skills.

Students will be responsible to complete 15-20 math problems twice a week. Depending on the student/class a multiplication speed test might also be assigned. All homework will need to be turned in 1 hour before class so that we can review the incorrect answers together. There will also be quizzes (10-15 questions each) and a mid-unit and final test (35-50 questions each).0 - 1 每週課外時間
