Start your week off right with this motivating class for teens. This is a learner-directed class so you are welcome to join in any week. There will be plenty of time for discussion about the upcoming week, and sharing about the previous week. We will share tools and strategies to improve motivation including goal setting, planning, organization and journaling. We will discuss and share with each other longer term goal setting and planning as well. English as a Second Language learners...
Students will learn strategies to increase their motivation and positive attitude towards their week ahead through goal setting, journaling, planning and organizing.
I have taught and mentored teens, including my own children and their friends as they have navigated their way through high school and later university. I have a traditional teaching credential and Masters in Education specializing in bilingual/bicultural education (Spanish and teaching ESL) .
A pen or pencil and notebook or journal for starters. You are welcome to bring any tools to share with the class or use to take notes as we discuss strategies for goal setting, planning, journaling and organizing.
