Learning is fun when you engage the whole child. Through oral story telling children will engage with peers and participate in the story using movement and sound. The "Elephant and the Frog" story will allow children an opportunity to learn ways to cope with frustration and relieve stress when having a challenging day. In addition to the story we will sing songs and learn finger plays. Parents will be able to download an overview of our morning circle once enrolled which includes our morning...
Students will gain tools to calm mind and body when frustrated, practice breathing exercises and engage social skills with peers.
Materials needed for class: 1) Crayons 2) A handout is provided for enrolled students. Parents will be able to download a coloring sheet and morning circle songs to use during our circle prior to class.
