課堂經歷
In this fun, creative and hands-on class we will sing to help recall the letter sounds. With the provided worksheets, students will sculpt capital and lower case letters. Then, create three objects out of play-dough that correspond with the sound. Practice worksheets will also be provided for homework where learners can draw a line to the correct short or long sounding object. I will often ask learners questions, offer turns to share and/or sing throughout. Week of May 22nd: Long Aa - create an acorn, angel and alien. Short Aa - create an ant, apple and arrow. Week of May 29th: Long Ee - create an eagle, ear and eel. Short Ee - create an elephant, egg and envelope. Week of June 5th: Long Ii - create an island, idea and ice cream. Short Ii - create an iguana, igloo and inch worm. Week of June 12th: Long Oo - create an oval, ore and ocean. Short Oo - create an octopus, ostrich and octagon. Week of June 19th: Long Uu - create a unicycle, unicorn and universe. Short Uu - create an unhappy face, up arrow and umbrella. Week of June 26th: Long Aa - create an acorn, angel and alien. Short Aa - create an ant, apple and arrow. Week of July 3rd: Long Ee - create an eagle, ear and eel. Short Ee - create an elephant, egg and envelope.
