Lesson 5: 💰Applying All 4 Skills in a Shopping Experience💰 Students will... -Determine how much money they have in their "bank account" by counting the bills and coins in the account -Determine what their budget will be for the store based off of the amount in their bank account -Use addition to keep track of how much they are spending at the store as they select the items they'd like to buy -Use subtraction or **counting on to determine how much change they will get back after they pay for their items **“Counting on” means to start with the item’s price, then count up to the amount paid with to find the difference.
