This is a one-time class that teaches learners how to calculate the right amount of change due during a shopping trip. Students will take turns being the shopper and the cashier. Class Content and Structure *** Class will start with a mini-lesson on how to calculate the right amount of change *** Students will visit the virtual store *** Students will take turns buying items, paying for them, and calculating the amount of change due. This class is for learners who already know the value of each coin and dollar and can add and subtract multiple-digit numbers.
