We will learn basic Hawaiian history of Hula. I will ask all participants to share what they know about Hawaii or if they have been there. At this time I will get up & do a few warm up’s & stretch. I am also a certified group fitness instructor with AFAA. Then we will go through the song together little by little. There is no experience needed for this class. All levels are welcomed. Homework for the first class will be to sing all the lyrics to “How far I’ll go”. Dance is about...
Students will learn a beautiful but simple Hula dance. All experience levels welcomed. We will learn that Hula is about how you feel... we will discuss the types of emotions they feel when they dance & when they hear the music.

We will be doing physical movements, so please have a clear space of at least 5x5. Bare foot is preferred. Our learners will be dancing most of the class, please have water nearby.
