This class will focus on fundamental concepts of multiplication. We will not only go over multiplication facts; we will also talk about how multiplication works and why it works. Students will improve their multiplication fact fluency while also developing a deeper understanding of what multiplication is. Students will learn and practice a different multiplication table every week. During each session, we will practice skip counting and work on some different strategies for solving...
Students will improve their fact fluency and understanding of multiplication facts from 2-12.
We will use dice for dice games throughout the course; students can use their own dice if they have them. I will provide electronic dice if students do not have their own.
I recommend that students practice their multiplication facts throughout the week to help build fluency.
