Each lesson will guide you through the step-by-step process of sculpting and refining your own unique masterpiece. There are no live meetings in this class. Content will be sent out through video format, allowing students to pause and work at their own pace. There are no grades or assignments in this class. Students are encouraged, but not required to submit a photo of their sculptures - because I love seeing what you've made! If learners ever need feedback or advice, they can send in a photo of their current sculpture, and I will assist them through chat, or through a video response. **Course Objectives:** - Develop a comprehensive understanding of the properties and behavior of polymer clay as a sculpting medium. - Acquire proficiency in sculpting techniques tailored specifically to the nuances of a donut shop bakery and features. - Cultivate observational skills to capture the essence and character of different donuts and bakery elements in your sculptures. - Explore the use of specialized tools and materials to enhance your sculpting process and achieve professional-quality results. - Foster creativity and self-expression through the exploration of various sculpting styles and approaches. **Course Objectives** 1. **Introduction to Polymer Clay:** Get acquainted with the characteristics and possibilities of polymer clay as a sculpting material. If you are using oven bake clay, parents help may be needed when cooking the clay.
(You can use a standard kitchen oven to bake polymer clay. Each clay package has specific clay baking instructions on how to bake it. I typically bake my clay for 15 minutes at 245 Fahrenheit!)
- If you are using an Exacto Knife, parental guidance is MANDATORY! (You may use a clay plastic cutting tool for a safer alternative)
供應清單
