This Minecraft themed class will instruct ratio and proportion problems.  We do not play Minecraft during class.  

If this question challenges you, then please take my class:  The ratio of two numbers is 1 to 5. Their sum is 30.  What are the two numbers?

The class is structured by going over numerous worked problems, step-by-step, on the whiteboard share-screen on zoom.  We work for 5-7 minutes, then take a short break and talk about Minecraft.  I will teach by showing an example, then asking each student in class what the next step is on the following problem.  My teaching style is to place the students in a successful position to understand and then apply. The students will interact with me and each other by going over worked solutions of the ratio and proportion questions.  The knowledge required for this motion class is understand variables, combine like terms, and solve equations.  

The performance target is to get 8/10 questions correct.
