Is your child a huge Minecraft fan like mine? Let’s turn that interest into a fun and collaborative learning experience! This ongoing class will be structured in a fun social club style format. Though this is an ongoing class, students can come and go from week to week as their schedule permits, if need be, but you will have to unsubscribe and then subscribe again as needed. At the start of each class, we will have a brief welcome discussion. Any new students will be welcomed and...
Please note, this class is a social club, not an instructional class. The intent of this class is for children to be able to come together in a safe online setting to engage in a common interest and to simply have fun! Students will have the opportunity to develop social and conversational skills during gameplay with fellow students. As the instructor, I will guide class format and facilitate, to encourage students to discuss and negotiate, with the goal of fun and fair gameplay for all. Hope to see you there!
I get all of my fun class ideas from the interests of my 9 year old daughter, and Minecraft is one of her favorite games!
additional device such as tablet and Minecraft Bedrock Edition (Please note, Minecraft Bedrock edition can be played across multiple platforms such as tablets, PC, and game systems) NOTE: Students MUST have an Xbox Live gamertag for online cross-platform play. This must be created with an email address, with the help of an adult BEFORE class in order to be able to play online and connect with other students in class. If you need instructions on how to do this, please reach out to me before your child's first class.
