In this ongoing class you will step into the world of Minecraft and make friends with your fellow Miners to create anything your heart desires. Become a part of the Outschool Kingdom, work together, create and chat to make the world what you want it to be. The kingdom is yours to create! Or explore villages, create quests for your fellow miners, the choice is yours!

The world that will be used is a completely unaltered world on my own private server, ensuring complete safety throughout all sessions. The only building pre-built on it is 'an office' which allows for a meeting point for all players if required. 

This class is student led, with the teachers role being to moderate the chat and built content, to ensure everyone is included and having the most possible fun! and upon building the kingdom, some 'quests' may be given as a group build activity, though students are welcome to build on their own if they prefer., also students are welcome to message me via Outschool with any suggestions/ quests they think their friends would enjoy!

Before enrolling please note that this version of Minecraft is the bedrock version, and is therefore compatible with IOS, Android, Switch, Xbox and PlayStation, and PC (bedrock) versions of the game.

To be able to take part in multiplayer, you must make sure you are logged into a Microsoft account, and depending on your device, have PlayStation plus, Nintendo online, or Xbox game pass.

The first few minutes of the class will be dedicated to saying hello, and making sure everyone is ready to play and able to access the world. I ask that students privately  message me their gamer tag before the meeting so I can invite them into the world (please DO NOT send your gamer tag via the classroom, as it will be removed). Once we are ready, students are then free to mute themselves and turn off cameras. (Please also make sure that devices are charged, connected to the internet and ready to go, as lessons cannot be refunded if that is the case)

Finally, there is a zero tolerance of any form of bullying allowed and students will be removed from the game after receiving one strike, meeting and future classes. This goes for use of inappropriate language or themes, the destruction and breaking of others work, the harm of others characters, and general disrespect towards others.

The idea is everyone is welcome no matter how experienced they are with the game, with the opportunity to learn from others
