During this class, we will start the class off with our introductions. Students will be able to share what they love about Minecraft. The class will conceptualize an idea of what they want their Minecraft selfie to look like. Students are free to brainstorm different ideas and concepts they want to add to their picture. We will go over the background of the picture, hairstyle, outfit, etc. Students will create their Minecraft portrait on grid paper. Students will be led step by step on how to create the portrait. Students will be able to customize their pictures adding accessories to their work. Once the portrait is complete, students will glue the portrait onto construction paper. This will be a very interactive class. After the project is completed, students will be able to share their pictures with other students in the class.
