Does your child have a problem focusing for extended periods of time?  Is your child easily stressed or overwhelmed by all of the stimuli they receive throughout the day?  This course is perfect for any child and will empower them to better understand their feelings & emotions while learning Mindfulness techniques and activities they can use in their daily lives. 
I have been teaching Mindfulness practices to students for over seven years now, and have seen amazing benefits and changes in children. They learn to respond wisely instead of reacting blindly to any given situation.
I believe that Mindfulness is not just sitting still and being calm, but is more about bringing presence and fully showing up to everything we do in life.  I teach Mindfulness in a fun and engaging way so kids can use the tools in their lives! 
What will students learn? 
Students learn different types of Mindfulness practices and Games as lesson Title's below: 
Week 1: Introduction to Mindfulness, Mindful Bodies, Mindful Listening, Mindfulness of Breathing ( finding your base)
Week 2: Sending Kind Thoughts ( show loving-kindness video), Body Awareness, Body Scan
 Week 3: Heartfulness, Generosity, Mindfulness of breathing ( Staying at your base), use breath ball
Week 4: Mindfulness of our thoughts using anchor words to direct our attention back to this moment, Mindful seeing. Mindfulness and Your Brain ( Brain Science)
Week 5: Heartfulness - Kind and Caring on the Playground, Mindfulness of our Emotions, using emojis to teach them, and show glitter jar  - Creating Space or Show Me, Tell Me
Week 6: Slow movement, Gratitude - Looking for the Good
Week 7: Mindful walking, Mindful eating
Week 8: Mindful Test Taking, poppy dog mind, being mindful every day, ending review
How will they learn it? They will learn it through lessons, mindful game cards, different breathing exercises, and books I use during each lesson.
What kind of homework is assigned? I will send them a workbook to write/ draw on for each lesson.
How is learner progress evaluated? At the end of the course, I will review with them what they have learned during the course.
Mindfulness practices prepare students to be in a learning-ready mind state, it teaches them how to focus their full attention on one thing at a time. It helps students to increase their focus & concentration; helps them to manage their emotions and calm themselves in any difficult situations. 
No background knowledge is required to learn mindfulness.
At the end of each session, students will get the challenge for the week and will practice what they have learned that week, and they will share their experiences of what they have noticed during the week.
We will evaluate their progress when they share their experience. They will become aware of their own mindfulness practice and progress.

課 1:
Introduction to Mindfulness, Mindful listening & breathing
 Hi Everyone and welcome to my Mindfulness course, week 1! 
Today we learn about Mindfulness, mindful bodies, mindful listening, mindfulness of breath, and our anchor point. Then we do a guided practice for both of them. Next, we practice different breathing exercises and, use mindful games activity cards. In the end, you share your experience and you will get the practice for the week.

課 2:
Kindness practice & Body awareness, body scan
 Hi everyone, today we first practice mindfulness for one minute, practice breathing and listening. Then we learn our new lessons, heartfulness, sending kind thoughts to ourselves and others, and body awareness, we practice body scan and use a few mindful breathing practices. In the end, you will get the home practice for the week.

課 3:
Mindful Breathing and anchor word & Heartfulness; Generosity
 Hi everyone, today first we do a guided mindfulness practice for two minutes. Then we learn our new lessons, mindfulness of breathing, staying at your base, and heartfulness, generosity lesson and do a guided practice for each one. Then we practice hand breathing for a few minutes, and use a special star body scan card, and do some breathing practices in standing posture. In the end, you will get the home practice for the week.

課 4:
Mindfulness of Thoughts, Mindful Seeing and Mindfulness & your Brain
 Hi everyone, today first we do a guided mindfulness practice for a few minutes. Next, we learn our new lessons. Mindfulness of thoughts, using anchor words to direct our attention back to this moment, Mindful seeing & Mindfulness and the brain. Then we do some breathing exercises in seated or standing posture.
In the end, you will get the home practice for the week.

I teach Mindfulness in a completely secular way, not attached to any religion.
供應清單
I teach Mindful School curriculum for kids and teens, according to their age, and I will give them the Journal questions at the end of each session to work on what they have learned for that week. 
For younger kids, K-5, I will send them the workbook for each session by Email.

Why me: 
I am a long time mindfulness practitioner. I practice mindfulness meditation for over 25 years now and as I see how this practice changed my life and the life of my students for better, I have committed myself to pass it on to everyone, especially our kids and teens.
I have been teaching Mindfulness to kids, teens, and adults for over 5 years now and happy to help them understand themselves better and live in the present moment, become more focus and live at peace.
I enjoy sharing my passion through teaching mindfulness techniques to my students; helping them to learn this profound mind training practices, which brings clarity and awareness to their minds.
I truly believe that Mindfulness practices allow for greater concentration, productivity, resiliency, self-management, and sense of happiness.
