Mighty Minds：秋季趣味創意思維

In this class we will stretch our mighty minds and think creatively about fall themes like pumpkins, leaves, apples, and scarecrows! 

Our world needs creative thinkers and skilled problem solvers!

There are 4 dimensions to describe creativity:
*Fluency-- generating lots of ideas, making lists, brainstorming (example: How many orange things can you name?)
*Flexibility-- the ability to look at things from a different viewpoint (example: If we didn't have rakes, what would be another way to gather the leaves?)
*Originality-- generating unique, unusual, or unexpected ideas and products (If you could design a corn maze, what challenges would you include?)
*Elaboration-- adding details, filling in gaps, and completing new ideas (example: Looking at a picture of a leaf, students will turn it in to something else.)

Meeting 1: We will cover Fluency and Flexibility (including, but not limited to the ideas listed above).

Meeting 2: We will cover Originality and Elaboration (including, but not limited to the ideas listed above).

Learners identified as gifted and talented would thrive in this class, but all are welcome to bring their ideas and stretch their mighty minds!
