課堂經歷
This 4-week course will review Common Core 5th-grade standards and preview 6th-grade standards. Students will also receive study skills instruction and access to digital learning resources (Boddle and OpeneBooks). Throughout the course, we will read "The View from Saturday" by Konigsburg, E. L., which is available on OpeneBooks. At the end of the course, students will have a portfolio showcasing their work. Week 1: Science -Earth and Space Science -Physical Science -Life Science Week 2: Math -Diagnostic/ Order of Operations -Fractions and Decimals -Geometry Week 3: Social Studies -Geography -Map Skills -Government and Economy Week 4: English Language Arts -Reading/Writing -Language/Grammar -Speaking/Listening At the end of this course, parents will receive a detailed email with recommendations for future classes.
