After successfully completing this course, learners will be able to: 
-	Use all 4 basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with fractions and mixed numbers, with both like and unlike denominators
-	Convert fractions in order to have like denominators
-	Convert between improper fractions and mixed numbers 
-	Use multiplication and division with decimal values
-	Convert values between decimals and fractions
-	Correctly place positive and negative numbers on a number line (including integers and rational numbers)
-	Use addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with negative numbers
-	Establish a ratio in fraction form, from a word problem or given information
-	Use a ratio to calculate an equivalent ratio
-	Use a ratio to find a unit rate, and use a unit rate to find an equivalent ratio
-	Establish an equivalent rate, representing a given percent problem
-	Use a percent to find an equivalent ratio, and use an equivalent ratio to calculate a percent

Learners will be given the opportunity for enrichment after each class session. Enrichment will not be collected but is provided as extra practice. Parents/Family are encouraged to use the provided Answer Key to check learner progress. Time will be given at the start of each lesson to ask questions about enrichment problems, this time will be limited to the first 5 minutes of class. There will be time for further review and discussion of enrichment and other practice problems during the make-up / help session. Estimated time to complete each enrichment is 20 – 45 minutes, depending on learner’s level of math competency.
