I received a B.A. in International Studies (European Studies) with a minor in Spanish Language in 2018. During university, I studied abroad in Spain two separate times. I grew up just a few miles from the U.S.-Mexico border in a family of native Spanish speakers. From my experiences, I have gained knowledge in both Latin-American Spanish and Castilian (Spain) Spanish. I have also worked as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher, in-person and online, for over 4 years. My understanding of language acquisition in young learners of English is easily applied to the Spanish Language.
