The class will begin with introductions and a song. We will discuss the meaning of Veterans Day and the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day. I will read the book America’s White Table to the students, using questioning techniques to facilitate comprehension and discussion as students interact with each other and with me. They will brainstorm descriptive words that relate to veterans. Learners will then color a patriotic art project. This class will be informative, engaging, and supportive in a non-partisan environment.
