課堂經歷
This will have a work-shop style class wherein students will get an opportunity to create their own two art pieces inspired by the style of Henri Matisse. We will spend sometime of the class looking at and interpreting some of the artists paintings and also learn about his life and artistic influences. The images shown in class will be age-appropriate. We will then focus on Fauvism and Cutouts, two techniques used by Matisse. This class is an interactive class, but I let my students open up as and when they feel comfortable to do so. I see my role as a facilitator in their creative processes and allows them space to showcase their own unique views. No prior art experience is required, but a curious mind is a must! Materials needed - Scissors - Glue stick - 4 blank white sheets of paper - 3/4 colored papers (stock or construction) - crayons - markers

Hello friends, welcome to my world of films, art, writing, travel and culture. Come along with me on some fun and educating adventures as I share with my students my knowledge and experience in making and viewing films, making art while also learning all about our planet and its inhabitants. I have an MFA in film and video production and have had the opportunity to teach at various schools, galleries, universities and colleges around the world.
