Welcome Math Detectives! I am a fun, animated teacher who loves to use pretend scenarios in my lessons. In this math mystery class, the math detectives will be solving a mystery with seashells. This class will focus on subtraction within 20. They will be given a problem and some clues that they will need to solve the mystery of the subtracting seashells. At the end of class, we will play an ocean-themed math game. Learners will need to have some prior knowledge of addition and subtraction. They will also need to know how to count up to 20. This class is geared mostly toward advanced kindergarten and first grade students.
